Movies Now Giveaway Winners Announced!

Movies Now HD 2.1 and Movies Now 2 v2.2 Waiting for Review
So this is the first update we’ve published to both the apps and all the fixes made to apps are as follows:
iPhone:
- Full iOS 4 Support: Including Fast App Switching
- Optimized for Retina Display: Fully optimized for the iPhone 4 Display
- Movie Certification: 15, PG etc. Added for those of you with kids
- Profile Tab fixed: For Canadian and UK users + plenty of other fixes.
- Cinema Favorites: You can now manually choose your favorite cinemas
- Performance on 3G/3GS: App is now fluid and snappy on iPhone 3G/3GS devices.
- Minor UI Tweaks
iPad:
- Performance improvements throughout the app
- Bug fixes including sorting cinemas by distance when viewing showtimes
We’ve chosen to make the apps absolutely solid and as a result have not added any new features in this version. We’ll start adding new features from the next update onwards! Theres some great stuff on the way so keep an eye out for the new features!

Movies Now featured on Well Placed Pixels!

Movies Now HD in featured in ‘New & Noteworthy’ for Entertainment in UK, Canada & US!
Movies Now HD, our Universal has been featured in the iTunes App Store in the ‘New & Noteworthy’ section in the Entertainment Category! And the best part is that we’ve got feature in all the countries we’ve launched in (barring Ireland).
This is fantastic and we owe it all to our users who have been downloading this app and giving it some fantastic reviews!!
Movies Now 2 v2.2 – Fast app switching Preview
We’ve just finished implementing fast app switching in the iPhone app. Our Beta users are helping us test this out along with many other fixes for v2.2. We’re also working on getting Movies Now fully specced up to the Retina Display.

Movies Now – The ultimate moviegoer’s app is now available on the App Store!
Movies Now HD and Movies Now 2 have both gone live in the US, Canada, UK and Ireland and we couldn’t be more excited!! We’ll be rapidly updating the app over the next few weeks so keep and out for performance improvements bug fixes and new features!
Movies Now 2 & HD launching tomorrow, 24th June!
It took a while for the iPad app to get approved (14 days to be exact!) but Apple finally came through.
Both the apps will be available tomorrow i.e. 24th June! in US, CA, UK & Ireland
We have pulled Movies Now 1.2.1 (original version) from the App Store and thus it will no longer be available. Those of you who have already downloaded the app, we’ll keep it up and running till the end of next week, i.e. 2nd July before we turn off the app. We would really like all our users to switch to the new upgrade.
Those of you who are waiting for refunds will get them by the end of this week.
We’re extremely excited at the launch of both these apps and hope your looking forward to enjoying the best movie app developed for the iPad!
